The Judges Expected a Cute Kids’ Dance… Instead, They Got a Show-Stopping Performance

Ruby Castro and Jonas Terleckas were just 9 and 10 years old when they stepped onto the America’s Got Talent stage, but they were far from ordinary young dancers. The talented ballroom duo had already competed at a high level and gained experience on some of the biggest dance stages.

For their audition, Ruby and Jonas performed an energetic Cha-Cha that immediately caught everyone’s attention. Their sharp movements, impressive technique, confidence, and incredible chemistry made it hard to believe they were so young. What started as a performance by two kids quickly turned into a stunning display of professional-level ballroom dancing.

The judges were clearly impressed by what they saw and heard from the young duo, giving them the votes they needed to move forward. Ruby and Jonas proved that age is no limit when it comes to talent, dedication, and stage presence—and their unforgettable AGT audition showed that these two young dancers had a very bright future ahead of them.
